Pepperoni Pizza : 31 Dec' 2013

Pepperoni Pizza

it's finally the day! finally 31 December 2013.
Of course, it's also time to have a celebratory dinner feast.
Decided to head over to PP since there is much ravings about the huge huge pizza that cost $50 for a big slice.
Are you still in the christmasy mode?

step 1: Kneading the prata/dough to a really big circular shape
Step 2: Add a dash of tomato sauce in swirling motion
Step 3: Add lots of cheese on top!

Add ingredients~!! see how small this guy arm is beside the pizza
& into the big hearth 9is that what you call it?)
& this guy literally let me took a really clear pic before he puts this into the hearth to cook it.. i guess he saw this weird girl frantically acting like a paparazzi shooting different angle
so he gave me some time by standing still & waiting for me to get this shot (below)
to whoever uncle you are thank you for being so patience!
----
Finally we got our seats!!
& we decided to have a combi of Suprema & Fruitti Di Mare
But sadly there was no Fruitti Di Mare (which is basically seafood) so we took Salmon instead!
oh how true, what a glutton I am,
if you're reading this right now, I guess you are perhaps glutton too hahaahha jokingg!

---
1. Calamari $12
it's good & crispy but too little imo, there's 6 of us!
took about 2 to 3 pieces each ;(
& then came the pizza!!
We were all feeling so hungry!

A closer look at it, I love the mushroomss & salmons!!!

It's pretty good, I am so coming back here!
Especailly so when you've got a craving for pizza & somehow eating thin-crust pizza just doesn't feel as bad as eating the thick ones
I meant calorie...contradicting I know, how can pizza ever be healthy well maybe it's cheese free hahahah
What am i talking.

We head over for countdown after this meal at Clarke Quay!
Oh why is the firework always so short! hmmp!
-----

Have a awesome 2014 ahead, folks! :D

Everything with Fries

Everything with Fries (EWF)

TGIF Folks, here's to the last friday of 2013.
yes, it's gonna be 2014 in like a few days time?
-----
1. Tandoori Chicken Sandwich ($14.90)
whoppee, first time trying this dish & wow got me a shock
for the serving looked pretty huge to me!
lol yayy! :D
As you would have probably know, you get to choose your choice of fries,
mine was thin fries in Sour Cream and Onion Fries, very appetizing!

look sandwich and that sauce~!!
the meat was sandwiched in between!
onomomom

#foodpornliterally

it's chicken thigh by the way!
decided to gave up slicing the meat with my knife and eat it on my hand instead,
unglam but who cares hahahha.
it always taste better with your hands am i not correct?

the bread was slightly toasted with a slight hint of garlic smell on it.
and it is arranged side to side with a piece of tendoori chicken sandwitched in between.
ouuuhh yummm
the sauce was also drizzled on top over the entire mess, generous sauce, that was slightly sweet and very flavourful.
It clamined to be their special homemade sauce as per the menu!

2. Fish and Chip ($17.90)

sadly the fish and truffle fries was a too oily for our liking.
although it was served warm but we felt that the chef could at least let the fish and truffle fries sit awhile to dry the oil before serving it.
Quite a huge disappoint for this.
Truffle fries was okay but not fantastic, agin too oily as well~
-----

Overall, the wait for the food took quite awhile,
almost 20mins or so.
Waitress top up my water frequently, which is pretty good
environment was also okay too not too noisy, to chill.
Overall, worth a try, might come back for other sandwiches! heheh

What's your tgif?

The Coffee Daily

The Coffee Daily

Decided to meet up with ma girls on the eve of Xmas~
it was a pretty last min decision, but at least I know where they are located at...
Headed here for some high tea!
hahahaha who says you gotta have log cakes for Xmas?

the array of teas

& what would tea be without some cakes!!~
& the legendary rainbow cake! :D
it's a pretty small cafe with chairs lined quite closely to each other~

& yes we sat around this corner with these vintage seats? hahahaha
we shared all these, minus the drinks!
yes all the sugars & calories!
Loving their caramel latte~

Chocolate Truffle Cake ($6.50)
this was pretty good! it's like mousse like texture &
what I love most would be the layer of waffle crisp on the bottom layer!
lookin' spongy~
Carrot Cake!
It was moist and fragrant but not the best around...

Next, the Chocolate Lava Cake!
yumyum the choc ozoing out~
really sinful but good~
You can choose to have a scoop of vanilla ice cream to go with it as well.
charged separately~ be sure to drink lots of water yeah!
Rainbow Cake ($9.00)
& yes the long anticipated rainbow cake!
hehehe really happy to see it, served in a plate with a snowman at eh side.
the oiture really don't do justice! yellow lighting sigh~

so it tasted like vanilla-cream kinda flavor,
really light & sweet (:
I just feel happy eating it, the pastel colours and it didn't taste too heavy!
Bliss!

& we took some childhood favs!
It's complementary aka freee!*smiles widely* hehehe
nomnomnom~
we also ordered a side of nachos & cheese to share~ $12 I think
& goodbye to teddy & bunny~

Overall, it is quite a simple & cozy cafe in the Upper Serangoon vicinity.
It can get a little crowded but at least it's not that noisy,
mostly you see students around & I will definitely recommend the rainbow//choc truffle//lava cake!
A great place for some catchup/ small group of friends!
I like the idea of having complementary biscuits ^^
Sorry for not having the price listed for every cakes/drinks cause I couldn't remember

-----
& we had a feast over at Chomp Chomp~
No photos taken though~
Happy X'mas Eve!

xx
