Macarons

MACARONS OR MACAROONS?

This is always a constant question in my head?
I thought they both meant the same thing but boy I was so wrong~

Drumrolls please~!

Anyway here's the thing:

MACAROONS looked like this:

The one we commonly sees is called the "FRENCH MACARONS".

Which brings me to the main point of thi s post, I've finally gotten my hands on the
BIG MACARONS @ PAUL
& yes of you're wondering I am siting outside Taka, cause there's a crowd at Pauls

It cost about $7.40-ish!
I tried their recommended flavour- Raspberries Flavoured.
Such a pretty colour, don't you think (p/s I did no edit this picture at all, look how pinky it is under sunlight!)
It has some saseme seed together with a rich berries jam,i kind of like the idea of the sesame seed cause it makes it more fragrant I guess
The first few bite was a bliss, but it later became too sweet for me >.<
Really this thing will goes much better with some tea...
Price was rather reasonable for such a big macaron!

I tried the Chocolate Flavoured too. (YUMMYYY)
It was more of my kind of macaron? Loving it!
& Uh huh~! If you're a fan of Canele Patisserie then you'll too love PAUL's Chocolate Macaron!

I guess the thing about Paul is that they don't have big fancy names for their macarons.
It's just named after the flavour accordingly.
Only buy these macarons if you're intending to share it just so you know I think it's like a 3-in-1 kinda size so please, eat with care!

Will try their tarts soon, till then.

xx
