1. Gâteau aux Marrons- For the creamy lover (just the right amount of sweetness) out there, it has some almond taste and it is topped with some roasted walnut & icing sugar 
2. Signature Mille Crêpes- thinly sliced truly delicate& true enough it's does melt in your mouth & definitely a must-try for the crepe-lover (even if you are not one, you might even like this version of mille crepe!)
3. Gateau Nuage- Simply put, it's a rich cheesecake, with a sight layer of sweetened sour cream with a thin cinnamon graham crust
4. Strawberry Shortcake - Classic strawberry shortcake.

We went in the evening after our dinner, 
so pretty much most of the cakes we wanted were sold out :(
Generally the cakes here are not too sweet, definitely suitable for everyone!
Cakes took awhile to serve
I will probably go back again to try these cakes that we originally wanted: Checkers, Raspberry Chocolate, Green Tea Mille Crêpes (Seasonal) and the Strawberry MIlle Feuille!!

Pancakes x Eggs Benedict [x2]

The pancake was really soft & fluffy,

& if you are a banana lover you love this!

Topped with maple syrup all over,with banana chucks slapped in between the pancakes with some berries

Eggs Benedict was well poached and nicely arranged.

But personally I felt that my hollandise sauce was a little too much for my liking,

A little sour in my opinion.

Arbite is located at the heart of Serangoon Garden,

Level 2, quite a cozy place for a early brunch!
Heard much raving about the Arbite Breakfast, but have yet to try that.

Price ranges a little more pricey, but they do provide good service! 

A good place to chill & what's more Chomp Chomp is just round the corner!

Finally came here for a catchup session with E!
We had hard time locating this place, made a big detoured just to get here! phew

It's definitely a place to go when you just want to unwind yourself.
It's within a park so you can take a stroll after dinner or even a romantic quiet date on a weekday!

Heard many good review about this place, so I decided to try it out myself!
No doubt, it was good!! 

Got myself a Crispy Fish Burger ($14)

My first impression, "Boy,what a fishyy burger" super cute burger!
& it was really crispyyy ^.^
Craving for some fish just typing by looking at it!!
& I just love how they put it on a wooden board to serve! 

& E got her Grub CheeseBurger ($13)
I tried a bite, the cheeseburger patty isn't too dry so not bad too!
Do you spot a pickle? (left side)
We had no idea was that deliberate or was it meant to place it aside for decorating purposes...hmm



Oh & yes they had fries in a cup too pretty cool idea!
But it wasn't serve warm, I love my fries warm and fresh :S

Honestly felt that the portion was too small ($9.80 ) & the waffle was not fluffy enough

This is one of my fav here

it is quite a small slice but definitely worth the try!!

It's a quaint cafe where they sell vintage furniture and even books.

Got myself the Classic Jane Eyre Book at only $9!

This is a place to come for high tea & some small treats.

Love those pretty porcelain plates they have here.

Next, we decided to hop over to KiKi Cafe!

It was totally unplanned but we happened to see it so, in we go.

We had to wait before we got our seats.

We ordered Mont Blanc

It was a really dense cake, not my kind of cake i would say.

The presentation of the cakes here are quite exquisite.

& the price ranges about $8 to $10 per slice.

Ambiance is good but the slice of each cake is quite small in my opinion.

The  other half of the shop was occupied by The Little Drom Store

where they sell quirky items but rather pricey.

Overall, it's a good concept to have the store selling cakes and the other selling merchandise
but when the shop is crowded, seem to me that more tables & chair would be a more practical choice.

Well, if you like some peace & quiet while you dine, 

this will definitely be a good choice.

Tucked inside Prologue Bookstore is this hidden cafe.

cozy chairs & mahogany tables 

Chicken Pie served with a small side of salad.

 

Baked Mushroom Mac & Cheese

We had some Mini Macaroons in a cup after our Brunch!

Who can resist the colourful goodness!

Best part: when you spent more than $25 in a single receipt,

you get to snag a book home! (Of course, not any book, only selected ones)

Definitely a place I will come back for the ambiance

You may see individuals here sitting down just reading a book or doing even studying with a cuppa

Food was rather average I would say.
